Dr. Gardos explains how to tell your lover you don't exactly like one of their favorite bedroom tricks.

When we're fooling around, my fiancé likes to stick his tongue in my ear.
I couldn't be more turned off. How do I break the news to him?
"Focus on the positive," says P. Sandor Gardos, Ph.D.,
staff sexologist at mypleasure.com. "When he starts in, say, 'Hmm. You
know what would really turn me on?' Then give him a suggestion." Nonverbal
communication also works well. When he starts licking your lobe, gently
move his head to a place where you'd like to be nibbled, accompanied
by murmurs of "I love that" or "That feels great." If he doesn't get
the message, be more direct: Outside the bedroom, tell him exactly what
you like while casually mentioning what you don't. "Even if he's put
off, it will make your sexual relationship better in the long run,"
says Gardos.
