As the variety and quality of sex toys have increased in recent years, more and more people are using them, says Sandor Gardos, Ph.D., a sex therapist and founder of MyPleasure.com, a site that sells adult toys. According to a recent survey of 1,773 of the site's visitors:

14% use sex toys with whomever they're dating.
21% have never used a sex toy.
22% use sex toys solo.
43% primarily use sex toys with their spouse.
