Sometimes when ejaculating, I notice blood in my semen. If I then urinate, a
small globule of dried blood is emitted with the urine. This doesn't happen all
the time, but has happened several times over the years. Is there something I
can do or is this a condition that requires medical assistance?

Yes, this is a condition that requires medical assistance!
I don't want to alarm you, but you should never see blood in your ejaculate
or urine. This is indicative that something is wrong.
It could be as simple as a burst capillary, but it is very important that you
see a doctor as soon as possible to rule out any more serious conditions. The
fact that this has been going on for years does not mean that it is not something
you should worry about. You should also be concerned about your partner, since
blood can be a symptom of certain sexually transmitted infections.
Don't panic, but please go see a urologist right away. Good luck to you.
