My husband had a vasectomy a couple of weeks ago. Now, whenever he has an orgasm,
he feel some pain. Should we be worried, or is this somewhat normal following this type of procedure?

I can understand why you two would be worried, but this sort of pain is not usually permanent.
During a vasectomy, the vas deferens is cut to prevent sperm from leaving the
testicles. What many people don't realize is that this vessel undergoes
contractions during orgasm, just like other parts of the genitals. Given that he
is still healing, those contractions will tug at the site of his recent
incision, causing pain. Once he is better healed -- in a couple months most
likely -- he should no longer experience any discomfort. If, however, the pain
does not subside, or if he notices swelling or other signs of infection, he
should see his doctor.
