After sex with my husband, I always notice a large amount of semen leaking out
of my vagina. Does this mean there is something wrong with him or me?

Let me begin by putting your mind at ease: There is nothing wrong with either
one of you. What you need to understand is that, except for one very small
hole in the cervix (known as the os), the vagina is a closed orifice. There is
nowhere else for the semen to go but out. This is one of the reasons why it takes
so many millions of sperm in each ejaculation for a man to be able to impregnate
a woman. The vast majority never actually make it through the os and up into
the fallopian tubes.
Although much of his semen may stay inside of you if you remain lying down, as
soon as you shift or stand up, it will begin to dribble out. Most will leave
your body within minutes. This is completely normal. No reason to be alarmed.
