My partner and I like to run ice up and down each other's bodies during sex. We
especially like the contrast between hot and cold on our genitals. Lately,
though, I have been wondering if there are any risks to this practice?

An extensive search of the literature did not reveal a single case of serious
harm caused by ice cubes.
Seriously, as long as you are not leaving ice on any part of the body for more
than ten minutes, or letting the skin turn blue, there is no danger I can think
of. Ice cubes are made of water -- not exactly a dangerous substance in small
quantities. Indeed, many people find it exciting to use ice cubes.
One neat trick you might not have tried: keep a glass of ice water on your
bedside table. That way, you have a quick way of getting some ice into your
mouth, and also something to quench your thirst. Have fun.
