To warm the insert, more effective then soaking it in hot water, use an electric heating pad and warm the entire unit, case and insert. For hot sex, leaving the unit wrapped in the heating pad during use will prevent its cooling off too soon. Use silicone lubricants. During cleanup, the silicone does not wash off the insert entirely, leaving a beneficial film instead of using corn starch or bath powder to prevent the insert from becoming sticky and malformed. After washing, just replace the insert into the case for drying without the replacing the two end caps.

I have a <i>Love Pad</i> which my wife uses on me and a conventional sleeve which I use for masturbation. I was looking for something different and chose the <i>Fleshlight</i>. I wasn't prepared for the softness of it. The material is totally unlike anything I've felt in a toy. It needs a lot of lubrication. I use somewhat diluted Astroglide. It's less messy (upon ejaculation) than a sleeve. It does have some heft to it, which takes some getting used to. And, it's a little more labor intensive to clean than a sleeve or the <i>Love Pad</i>. It's very satisfying though.
